Working in partnership with Shaw Trust we provide specialist support and advice regarding self employment to anyone who is eligible to participate in the Work Choice programme. We will start by having an informal chat with anyone who may be interested in knowing about becoming their own boss, after that our services are very much decided upon by the client. We will help with market research, marketing, sourcing funding, writing a business plan, business regulations,basic business skills, free website. One area of expertise that we offer all our clients is to review what benefits they are currently recieving and look at what potential In Work benefits they may be entitled to i.e. Tax Credits. Our services to do not stop once the person has went into self employment we provide In-Work support .
Training for Work - Self Employment
Area covered - Fife and Lanarkshire
Working in partnership with Business Gateway Fife we meet with clients who may be interested in joining the programme and if they are interested we organise an induction to the programme and then meet with the client on a weekly basis. During these meetings the business idea will be discussed and decided upon, market research will be conducted, development of a business plan and when ready the possibility of test trading the business idea without lose of any benefits the client may be in receipt of. We offer all our clients a review of what benefits they are currently receiving and what potential In Work benefits they may be entitled to i.e. Tax Credits.
